By downloading, installing, or using Offline AI Auto Subtitle: SRT (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
Offline AI Auto Subtitle: SRT provides automated video and audio-to-subtitle (.srt) transcription services using on-device artificial intelligence technology. All speech recognition and caption generation are performed offline directly on your device, ensuring fast, private, and secure processing without uploading your media to external servers.
2. Free Tier & Pro Upgrades
Free Tier Usage: Free users can transcribe media files up to 10 minutes of audio with full subtitle generation. A 2-minute promotional grace period applies up to 12 minutes, beyond which media is truncated under the free version.
Pro Version (In-App Purchases): Users may purchase the Pro upgrade exclusively via Google Play In-App Purchases to unlock unlimited audio transcription length, priority processing, and an ad-free experience.
Billing & Refunds: All payments are processed securely through Google Play. Purchases are subject to Google Play’s official refund policies and applicable consumer laws.
No Account Required for Offline Use: Because this application operates on-device and offline, you do not need to register a cloud account to process subtitles.
3. Service Reliability & Processing Protection
On-Device Safety: If a transcription fails due to an unexpected application crash, memory constraint, or unreadable media container, the process halts safely without damaging your source files.
Unprocessable / Corrupted Media: Subtitles cannot be generated from corrupted files, silent tracks, completely distorted audio, or media with unsupported codecs. You are responsible for ensuring that your input video or audio file contains audible, intelligible speech.
4. Acceptable Use & Content Ownership
Your Media & Subtitle Files: You retain 100% ownership and intellectual property rights over all audio, video, and generated subtitle (.srt) files processed with the App.
User Responsibility & Lawful Use: You warrant that you possess all necessary rights, licenses, and legal authority to access, transcribe, and subtitle the media you select. You agree not to use the App to process illegal content or infringe upon third-party copyrights or intellectual property.
5. Privacy & Data Handling
100% On-Device & Private: Your video and audio recordings never leave your physical device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or monitor your private media or generated transcripts on any remote server.
Local Storage: All saved subtitles and history collections reside solely within your device's local storage and can be deleted by you at any time.
6. Disclaimer & Accuracy of AI Output
Results generated by the on-device artificial intelligence engine are provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. While the AI is trained for high transcription accuracy, speech recognition models may occasionally produce incorrect, incomplete, or misheard words due to heavy accents, background noise, low volume, or overlapping dialogue. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated subtitles prior to professional, commercial, legal, or broadcast use.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prince J shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App, or from inaccuracies or omissions in generated subtitles.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App following any published updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
